Theory test app tops iPhone chart
The technology giant Apple has named the Official DVSA Theory Test Kit app as the top-selling paid-for iOS app of 2017.
The DVSA app beat of competition from the likes of Minecraft and the Football Manager 2018 mobile app.
Priced at £4.99, the DVSA app prepares drivers for the theory and hazard perception test.
It includes information on all 14 topics featured within the test as well as mock tests with every official DVSA car theory test revision question and answer.
The app also features 10 official DVSA practice hazard perception interactive video clips.
The current version of the app has a four and a half star rating from 459 reviews.
Gareth Llewellyn, DVSA chief executive, said: “I’m delighted that DVSA’s Official Theory Test Kit is the top-selling app of 2017 on the App Store. We’re determined to help drivers learn and develop their knowledge in a way that suits them.
“Since 2011, more than 1.4 million people have used DVSA apps to study, practice and take mock tests. That makes these apps some of the most successful learning aids in Britain – helping a new generation of drivers to stay safe on our roads.”
